Kinetic Rain at Changi Airport

Last January 2013 we went to Departure-Check-in hall of Terminal 1 of Singapore's Changi Airport. I was amazed when i saw this:

They said that Kinetic Rain is the world's largest kinetic sculpture. Consists of 1,216 raindrops made of aluminium and highly polished copper that is being controlled by 1,216 individual motors. This was designed by ART+COM, a German firm that specialises in art installations.

I feel like dancing in the rain, hehehe.

An artwork that is truly amazing and eye-catching. Singapore Changi Airport PO Box 168 Singapore 918146 Tel: (65) 6595 6868 Email: feedback@changiairport.com
